MRS. JOHN KRUSE

LE MARS, Iowa—Mrs. John Kruse, 79, LeMars, died Thursday at a LeMars hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Mauer Funeral Chapel, LeMars, with the Rev. Denton Ericson officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Kruse, the former Marie Meiners, was born May 27, 1898, in Forreston, Ill. She was married March 15, 1941, in Dodge County, Minn. They farmed in Plymouth County until moving to LeMars in 1949.

Survivors include the widower and a sister, Mrs. Carie Eilers, of LeMars.

~Note: Per SSDI online it states: b. 27 May 1897; d. Dec 1977. If she was 79 years of age at death, then it has to be correct that she was born May 27, 1898, as the obituary says.
