MRS. JESSE H. JOHNSON

Mrs. Jesse H. Johnson, 85, Hudson, died Monday at the Hawarden hospital.

She was born July 1, 1883, near Ruble and was the former Winona Boyer. Her marriage to Mr. Johnson took place March 13, 1902, at Akron.

The couple farmed in the Ruble area until 1912 when they moved to a farm near Hawarden. In 1919, they moved to Hudson and Mr. Johnson preceded her in death.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Methodist Church, Hawarden. Burial was in the Grace Hill Cemetery.

Survivors are two sons, Elmer N. of Hardy, Ark., and Harold S., of Hudson; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Berg and Mrs. Wilbur Dixon, both of Hudson; two sisters, Mrs. Clark Childs and Mrs. Fred Ista, both of Walcott, N.D.; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
