SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: He farmed with his father and brothers. After marriage, they continued to farm with his family until 1944, when they moved to a farm northwest of Remsen, which they purchased in 1953. They retired on the farm in August 1978 and moved into Remsen in August 1979.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; two sons and their wives, Vernon and Sandra of West Lafayette, Ind., and Richard and Roselyn of Aurora, Colo.; three daughters and their husbands, Florence and John Rosenberg of Piedmont, Calif., Arlene and John Cassidy of Golden Valley, Minn., and Mary Alice and Marvin Penning of Nebraska City, Neb.; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …one grandson, Douglas Mayrose; six brothers, Bernard “Ben,” Joseph, Frank, Edward, Albert and Adolph; four sisters, Mary Mayrose, Mrs. Barney (Catherine) Bornhorst, Mrs. John (Josephine) Thill, and Mrs. Matthew (Anna) Costello.
