Carol Jensen Heinzeroth, 75, of Alden, Iowa, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008 at the University of Kansas Hospital.

Carol was born Dec. 10, 1932, on a farm near Merrill. She graduated from Westfield High School and later from St. Olaf College with a degree in home economics. She was a teacher, homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Carol is survived by a daughter, Lynne Thomson and husband Bill; son Greg Heinzeroth and wife Genail; son Todd Heinzeroth; daughter Jill Musson and husband Troy; son Joel Heinzeroth and wife Codi; sister, Coyla Andresen, and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Heinzeroth and a son, Scott.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday, Aug. 16, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Alden, followed by burial in the Alden Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or charity of choice.
