OCCUPATION: She graduated from Anthon High School and received her teaching certificate. She taught school in rural Woodbury County, Iowa. She had lived in Plymouth County, Iowa, for many years before moving to California, where she was employed as a nurses aide. She returned to LeMars, where she was employed with LeMars Flower Shop and Marie’s Dress Shop.
SURVIVORS: …include her husband; a sister, Shirley Gothier of Los Angeles; two sisters-in-law; three step-children; eight step-grandchildren; 14 great step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
