HANS PETERSEN DIES, RITES WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Hans Petersen, 65, of West LeMars, who died Monday, April 21, will be held Wednesday afternoon, April 23, at 2 o’clock at the Mauer funeral chapel. The Rev. L.L. Belk will officiate. Burial will be in the LeMars cemetery.

Hans Peter Petersen was born March 21, 1887, in Denmark. He came to Sioux City in 1907 and worked on farms in this vicinity before going to the West coast for several years. He returned to Plymouth county in 1916 and has farmed and lived here since that time. He had retired and lived in West LeMars at the time of his death.

Surviving are two brothers, H.L. Petersen of Dearborn, Mich., and R.A. Petersen of Denmark.
