FREMONT, Neb. -- Alma F. Lanegan, 87, of Fremont, formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at Arbor Manor Living Center in Fremont.

Private family graveside services will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont.

Mrs. Lanegan was born Jan. 26, 1914, in Le Mars, Iowa, where she lived in her early years.

In February 1938, Alma Morgan was married to Keith Lanegan and they made their home in Sioux City. He preceded her in death in March 1963. In 1972, she made her home with her son. They lived in several different areas while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. In 1994, she returned to Nebraska and, in 1999, she came to Fremont and made her home at Arbor Manor Living Center.

Survivors include a son, Roger Lanegan of Chicago; a grandson; two great-grandsons; and two nieces, Rosemary Swanson of Raymond, Neb., and Doris Wingert of Sioux City.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister.
