SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Dorothy Tiesler, May 1, 1946, Hinton, Iowa. She died on Sept. 6, 1986.
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE: Opal Coulter Loftis, Feb. 8, 1992.
OCCUPATION: He was a farmer in the Hinton area, and then worked for Sioux City Foundry and Western Iowa Technical Community College, retiring in 1985.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; two daughters, Connie and her husband James Wahstrom, and Sandy Muecke, all of Hinton; a brother; Larry Krause of Watertown, Wis.; two step daughters and their husbands, LaVonne and Kennie McDonald of Jackson, Neb., and Cheryl and Ron Tague of Hinton; a stepson and his wife, Merle and Diamond Loftis of Sioux City; four grandchildren;16 step grandchildren; 22 step great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pratt of Clinton, Iowa, and Marlys Tiesler of Hinton; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
