OCCUPATION: The couple farmed near Marcus until retiring in 1975.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; Ruth of LeMars; a daughter and her husband, Holly and Jim Fisher of Springfield, Ill.; two grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Judy Fare of Brewster, Wash.; a brother and his wife, Lester and Grace of Marcus; a sister and her husband, Ida and Weldon Ohlendorf of Remsen, Iowa.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: a son, Sgt. Wilbur “Bill” Kirchoff; and a brother, Lee.
