CHRIS MILLER DEAD AT 93

Christian W. Miller, 93, former longtime LeMars implement dealer and former mayor of the city, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at his home where he lived alone. He had been enjoying good health until the last few days.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Mauer funeral home in LeMars. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 18, 1889, in Plymouth County. His wife, the former Lillian Steinhauser, died in January 1973.

Mr. Miller was a former longtime John Deere implement dealer and served several terms as LeMars mayor.
