MRS. EDWARD NELLE

LE MARS, Iowa—Mrs. Edward Nelle, 88, of LeMars, died Tuesday in a nursing home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Francis Staber will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nelle, the former Carrie Iwerks, was born April 30, 1893, in Monroe, S.D.

She was married Jan. 30, 1914, at Monroe. They operated the Nelle Lumber Co. in LeMars and later she and her son operated LeMars Cashway Lumber Co. Mr. Nelle died March 18, 1974.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sons, Myron of LeMars, Vernon of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Kenneth of Santa Barbara, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Phyllis) Welander of Sun City, Ariz., Mrs. Edward (Maxine) Kiolbasa of Stillwater, Minn., and Mrs. Neil (Lois) Duffy of Minneapolis, Minn.; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
