MRS. EVERETT ORR

Mrs. Everett Orr, 88, Merrill, died Thursday (Oct. 30, 1980) at Plymouth Manor, LeMars, of a long illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Adaville United Methodist Church, rural Merrill. Rev. Donald Bardole will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery, rural Merrill, under the direction of the Mauer Funeral Home of LeMars.

Mrs. Orr, the former Mary Elizabeth Hines, was born Aug. 3, 1892, at LeMars to Jacob and Mary Hartman Hines. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth county.

She was married Feb. 14, 1917, at Hinton.

The couple farmed in the Adaville area until retiring to Merrill in May 1970.

She is survived by her husband.

Mrs. Orr was a member of Adaville United Methodist Church, the Sunday school and women’s society of the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Rueben, and six sisters, Elizabeth, Anna, Hannah, Pearl, Lillian, and Emma.
