MRS. PEARL HOLTON
Mrs. Pearl Holton, 95, lifelong resident of LeMars, died Thursday (Aug. 28, 1980) at Plymouth Manor where she had been a resident for three years.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in LeMars. Rev. George McFadden will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Luedtke funeral home.
Prayer service will be Friday at 8 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
Pearl Holton was born July 24, 1885, in LeMars to Alexander Thompson and Mary Warren. She married Nicholas J. Holton Jan. 15, 1908, in LeMars. He died in 1950.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Myron (Viola) Freeman, Sioux City; Mrs. Wilbur (Frances) DePree, LeMars; Mrs. Wayne (Irene) Parsley, Sloan; Mrs. Mansur (Helen) Tinsley, Boulder, Colo.; two sons, Thomas Holton of Dakota City, Neb., and R.S. (Hap) Holton of Burnsville, Minn.; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Jack Quinlan, Gary, S.D.; Mrs. Rachael Stoltenburg in Oregon and Mrs. Ethel Nielson in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons and several sisters and brothers.
