OCCUPATION: The couple farmed in the Moville area until 1948, when they moved to the Pierson area, where they farmed until retiring in 1969. They moved to Kingsley in 1971. He had been a resident of the care center the last 2 ½ months.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; a son and his wife, Eugene and Joy of Sepulveda, Calif.; two daughters and their husbands, Mary and Stan Paler of Craig, and Shirley and Dave Vander Hamm of Remsen; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
