OCCUPATION: He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He co-owned and operated the service station, Hauck Becker Oil Co., until the mid-1960s. He was then employed as an assistant cashier with Kingsley State Bank from 1968 to 1983. He also managed farm land. He served on the board of directors at Kingsley State Bank, the Kingsley Town council, Kingsley School Board and Plymouth County Board of Review.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; two sons; a daughter; eight grandchildren; a sister-in-law; a brother-in-law; and mother-in-law, Edna Hawkins of Kingsley.
