OCCUPATION: He farmed in Grant township for over 60 years, retiring in 1979.
SURVIVORS: include his wife of Dubuque, Iowa; two sons, Arlan and his wife, Rose of rural LeMars, and Gary of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister and her husband, Anna and Alvin Klemme of LeMars; and several nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: two sisters, Helen Ahrendt and Clara Klemme.
