OCCUPATION: The couple made their home on a farm in Johnson Township until retiring in 1963, and moved to Brunsville, Iowa.
SURVIVORS: include two daughters, Dorothy E. Utesch and Lois and her husband, Norman Varenhorst, all of LeMars; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 19 great great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Ludwigs of Hull, Iowa; and two sisters, Mary Ruble and Ella and her husband, Leonard Molzen, all of LeMars.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: Her husband died Feb. 1, 1976. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Merlin Utesch; a sister, Lena Mammen; four brothers, Henry, George, William and Elmer; and a great grandchild.
