PLACE of BIRTH: on a farm near Oyens, Iowa
PARENTS: son of William and Mary (Barnable) Holton
SPOUSE & DATE of MARRIAGE: Rose Konz, Jan. 13, 1936
PLACE OF MARRIAGE: at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Granville, Iowa
OCCUPATION: They farmed in the Oyens area until 1947, when they moved to a farm south of LeMars.
SURVIVORS: include two sons and their wives, Jack and LaVon Holton of Merrill, and Pat and Karol Holton of LeMars; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: Mrs. Holton died Feb. 2, 1996. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Holton in infancy; two brothers, Jim and Emmett Holton; and two sisters, Laura Freking and Madeline Schwartz.
