OCCUPATION: After moving to Cherokee, they owned and operated the West Cedar Superette for several years. They opened Charley’s Steakhouse and Green Lantern Restaurant, which they operated until 1965. She worked in the dietary department of Sioux Valley Hospital for 18 years.
SURVIVORS: include five sons; two daughters; a sister; a step-sister; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: Mr. George died Dec. 13, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Geraldine Fitzpatrick; two sisters; two brothers; and a step-brother.
