OCCUPATION: The couple moved to Correctionville, Iowa, where they owned and operated the Gambles Store. They moved to Sergeant Bluff in 1949. She was employed as a sales clerk with Sears, Montgomery Wards and Lindburg’s.
SURVIVORS: include a daughter and her husband, Donna Jean and Robert E. Barke of Pierson, Iowa; a sister, Ereign Hutchinson of California; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: Her husband died Sept. 19, 1975. Also preceded in death by a son, Charles; four brothers and five sisters.
