Funeral services were held recently in San Antonio, Tex., for Julius Glau, 93, a former Perry township farmer. Burial was in a San Antonio cemetery.
Mr. Glau passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, in his home at San Antonio, Texas, after an illness of three years. He was born March 17, 1860, in Germany. He came to America at the age of 16.
He retired from farm work in 1929 and then went to San Antonio.
Mr. Glau had made his home with a daughter, Mrs. Helen Miller, at San Antonio, Texas, since his wife, Anna, died Feb. 7, 1929.
Survivors, besides the daughter, include three sons, Julius Jr., of San Antonio, Texas; George of R.F.D. 1, Sioux City, and Fred of Bayfield, Wis.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Glau would have been 94 years in March.
