SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. HENRY GRIMJES
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Grimjes, 72, were held at St. John's American Lutheran Church at Le Mars last Thursday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m.
The Rev. L.L. Belk conducted the service and burial was in the LeMars City Cemetery.
Mrs. Grimjes, the former Lena Schoenrock, died Wednesday at her home. She had been ill health for past seven years.
She was a native of Plymouth county, where she spent her entire life. She was born May 13, 1881, in Stanton township. Her marriage to Henry Grimjes took place March 2, 1904.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Elna and Gladys Grimjes, both of LeMars. Other relatives surviving are her sister, Mrs. Herman Ideker of Leeds and three brothers, Henry and Charles Schoenrock, of LeMars, and Herman Schoenrock of Hawarden.
