MRS. ROSE CRAMER
Mrs. Rose Cramer, 76, Sioux Falls, a LeMars native, died unexpectedly Sunday (May 24, 1987) at McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Springdale Lutheran Church, rural Harrisburg, S.D., with Rev. Dean Hofstad officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery under the direction of the Miller Funeral Home, 13th and Main, Sioux Falls.
A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The former Rose Dircks, she was born Sept. 16, 1909, at rural LeMars to Albert and Etta Kleihauer Dircks. She married Ben H. Cramer Jan. 25, 1928, at Presho, S.D. The couple farmed from 1945 to 1964 at Hudson and from 1964 to 1977 at Harrisburg. She moved to Sioux Falls 10 years ago.
She was a member of Springdale Lutheran Church and the women’s circle.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Doretta Helgerson and Mrs. Diane Smith, both of Sioux Falls; three sons, Bernard of Sioux Falls; Ronald of Volga, S.D., and Lyman of Belle Fourche, S.D.; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and five sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Jan. 26, 1977; a sister; and a grandson.
