Gerald R (Mann) Rees, 50, of Fontana, California, and formerly of Sioux City and Plymouth County, Iowa died Jan 26, 1990, in a Fontana hospital.

Mr. Rees was born April 17, 1939, in Sioux City He was raised in the Merrill, Iowa area and attended Merrill, schools graduating from Merrill
High School.

Mr. Rees enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps in 1959 and served for four years. After his discaharge fom the Marine Corps, he settled in California and was employed by the state.

Survivors include three sons, Mark, Gary and Greg and a daughter Sharon all of California; four grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Ione Brazeal of Fullerton, Calif.; his father Harold Rees of Mountain Lake, Minn; a brother and a sister-in-law, Richard and Karen Mann of Des Moines, Iowa;
two sisters, Nona J. Dunham of Stuart, Okla. and Diane Baker of Daytona Beack, Fla., and an aunt, Marie Kale of Sioux City.

Services will be today at the Draper Funeral Home in Ontario, California.
