YOUTH DIES FROM TYPHOID FEVER
Marshall Friedman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Friedman, died Sunday morning in a Sioux City hospital after three weeks illness with typhoid fever. The Friedman family were former residents of this vicinity, living on a farm a short distance east of Hinton, but are now located at 4301 Tyler street at Leeds.
Marshall Friedman was born in Sioux City, October 11, 1917, and was 16 years of age. He had many friends in this community and at Leeds, where he matured to young manhood.
Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Friedman; four brothers, Anthony Jr., Clinton, Clarence, and Lloyd; and a sister, Donna.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in Wesley Methodist church in Leeds, Rev. J.E. Feller, officiating, and burial was made in the Lincoln township cemetery east of Hinton.
