KINGSLEY, Iowa -- Gordon Leslie Myers, 88, of Kingsley died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at his residence.

The body has been cremated and there will be no funeral service. Arrangements are being handled by Rohde-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Gordon was born March 3, 1916 in rural Kingsley, the son of Joseph Edward and Ida (Roose) Myers. He lived his entire life in the Kingsley area.

Survivors include a sister, Gladys Mitchell of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Thelma Myers and Thora Stribley; and a great nephew, Byron Stribley.
