Estelle J. Musselman, 75, of Sioux City died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Merrill Muller and Laurice Streyffeler officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Estelle was born March 28, 1929, in Le Mars, Iowa, the daughter of Levi and Jeanette (Druger) Deedrick. She grew up in Leeds and graduated from Leeds High School.
She married her high school sweetheart, Duane B. Musselman, on May 12, 1949, in Sioux City. She worked at Siouxland Christian Day Care for about 15 years.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church since her confirmation, the Women's Society, Joy Circle and sang in the choir. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the P.T.A. and was involved with the Girl Scouts. She enjoyed cards, dominoes, puzzle games and crocheting. She loved children, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed visiting with her coffee friends. In earlier years, she enjoyed camping with her family and spending time at their cabin on the river.
She is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, Duane; a son and his wife, Mark and Suzanne Musselman of Sioux City; two daughters, Diana Terrell of Sioux City and Beth Musselman of Blue Creek, N.M.; two brothers and their wives, David and Janice Deedrick of Cherokee, Iowa, and Thomas and Lorraine Deedrick of Rochester, Minn.; six grandchildren, Megan Surber, Nicolle Anderson, Letitia Terrell, Scott Musselman, Christopher Musselman and Daniel Musselman; and three great-grandchildren, Kevin Surber, Connor Anderson and Michael Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Ted Musselman, Randy Musselman, Carl Musselman, Scott Musselman, Christopher Musselman and Daniel Musselman.
