ROY HARVEY

Roy Harvey, 67, longtime LeMars and Merrill resident died Sunday morning at a hospital here after a three-month illness.

Mr. Harvey was born October 4, 1889, near Ireton, Ia., and lived most of his life in the LeMars area—except for a brief period spent in Washington state. A retired stonemason, he had lived in Merrill the last two years. Mrs. Harvey, the former Susie Holzer, whom he married at Platteville, Wis., died in 1945.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Frank Laughlin of LeMars and Mrs. Marie Magill of San Francisco, and a brother Ben of Oyens, Ia.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mauer funeral home with Rev. Lyle Graff of the Union Township Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be in the Union township cemetery.
