FRANK LAUGHLIN

Frank Laughlin, 75, lifelong LeMars resident passed away January 5, 1959, at his home near LeMars after a sickness which lasted several years.

He was born March 10, 1883, in LeMars. Mr. Laughlin was married to Bessie Harvey in LeMars on February 15, 1905. He lived on the same farm for 65 years in Union township and retired on the same place eleven years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 1959, at the Mauer funeral home with burial in the Union township Presbyterian church cemetery. Rev. Loran E. Parman of the Union township Presbyterian church will officiate. Mauer funeral home in LeMars is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie of route 1, LeMars, a brother, Claude Laughlin of Barrey, Illinois, and a sister, Mrs. Ella Booge of Palo Alto, California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and 3 sisters.
