LAST RITES SUNDAY
FOR EARL KINGFuneral services for Earl King, 52, a longtime resident of Kingsley, who died last Wednesday evening at his home, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Congregational church. Rev. Everett Major officiated, and burial was in the Kingsley cemetery.
Mr. King was born March 8, 1902, at Canton, Mo. He had been employed for 30 years by Clark’s Construction Co.
He married Gladys Irene Wooley, Jan. 8, 1946, at Kansas City, Kan.
Survivors in addition to the widow are three brothers, Carl of San Lorenzo, Cal., Raymond of Norwalk, Cal., and Gilbert of Denver, Col.; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Bridgman of Taylor, Mo., Mrs. Thelma Falds of Denver, Mrs. Mamie Anderson and Mrs. Laura Ahrens, both of Kingsley.
Mr. and Mrs. King were former residents of Hinton, Iowa.
