Thelma L. Dorr, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2008, in Remsen, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Thelma was born to Charles and Lula (Williams) Kracke of Marcus, on June 7, 1919. She lived her entire life in the Northwest Iowa area.

She is survived by three daughters, Corene DeMaranville of Tulsa, Okla., JoAnn Clay (Darrell) of Chicago, Ill., and Pamela Bradley (Scott) of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Floyd Kracke and Nyle Kracke; four grandchildren, Shannon Bradley, Heather (Brian) Geary, Kelly (Jayson) Brashaw, and Scott Arney (Jennifer) and six great-grandchildren.

Thelma is preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Groepper, her last husband, Martin Dorr, and one sister, Lois Hadden.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Remsen. The Rev. Larry Fett will officiate. A private family burial service will follow. Visitation will begin one prior to the service on Monday at the church.
