SERVICES SUNDAY FOR PIONEER RESIDENT

Funeral services for H.H. Schindel, 84, early day Plymouth county resident, who died at LeMars last week Wednesday was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Merrill Methodist church. Rev. A.J. Quirin officiated and was assisted by Rev. W.A. Dumke.

Mr. Schindel was born November 13, 1863, in a cabin near Melbourne. He married Mary Berner, March 29, 1893.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. P.A. Lucey of Sioux City; two sons, Oscar W., of LeMars, and Earl H. of Merrill; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles of Grand Junction, Colo., William of Sioux City and John of Sheldon, Iowa; and three sisters, Mrs. Jake Berner, Mrs. Henry Nigg, and Mrs. Schrader.
