EARL H. SCHINDEL

Earl H. Schindel, 82, died Monday (Dec. 20, 1982) at a Sioux City nursing home.

Services were 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at the Mauer Funeral Chapel, LeMars. Rev. Max Goldman officiated. Burial was in Merrill Hillside Cemetery, Merrill.

Mr. Schindel was born Jan. 25, 1899, on a farm near Merrill in Plymouth County.

He married Grace E. Bristow on Dec. 19, 1923, in Merrill Methodist Church. He was a lifelong farmer in Plymouth County until retiring to Sioux City in 1955.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Willard of Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. James (Beverly) Fyock of Sioux City, and Mrs. Keith (Adrienne) Branum of Merrill; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Elsie Lucy of Atherton, Calif.
