OBITUARY

MRS. JOHN C. PETERSON

Funeral services for Mrs. John C. Peterson, 75, 1700 Morningside Ave., Sioux City, were 1 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, Sioux City.

Rev. Charles Q. Wallace officiated and burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Merrill, under the direction of the W. Harry Christy funeral home, Morningside.

Pallbearers were Marvin Weirda, Douglas and Francis Baker, Randall Jensen, Kenneth Junck, and Ervin Heinzeroth.

Mrs. Peterson died Friday, Sept. 22, 1972, at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

The former Olga C. Jensen, she was born May 31, 1897, near Salix. When she was 15 years old she moved to Plymouth county with her parents.

Mrs. Peterson was married July 20, 1921, at Merrill and the couple farmed in Plymouth county. Mr. Peterson died in 1941. The following year Mrs. Peterson retired to Sioux City.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors are her sister, Mrs. Matie E. Baker of Merrill, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by her husband, John, two sons, her parents, five brothers and four sisters.
