ROY C. BALDWIN

Roy C. Baldwin, 74, Sioux City, formerly of LeMars, died Tuesday (Sept. 19, 1972) at Sioux City St. Vincent hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Baldwin was a longtime foreman for F. Leader Construction Co.

He was born June 20, 1898, at Stockton, Mo., the son of the late John C. and Sarah (O’Connor) Baldwin.

He and Laura Betsworth were married in 1932 at Dakota City, Neb. Mrs. Baldwin died Feb. 9, 1963, at Sioux City.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, Merrill, with Rev. Donald Deines officiating.

Luken-Johnson Funeral Home, LeMars, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are a brother, Harry of Stockton, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Minnie) Cornwell of Stockton, Mo., and Mrs. Lloyd (Orpha) White of Fresno, Calif.

Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by his wife, parents and three brothers.
