DOROTHY M. BOYD

WESTFIELD, Iowa – Dorothy May Boyd, 83, of Exira, Iowa, formerly of Westfield, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, in Exira.

Burial of the cremains will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Adaville, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roland Funeral Service in Atlantic, Iowa.

Mrs. Boyd was born Feb. 24, 1917, in Westfield, the daughter of Joseph and Lena (Lower) Martin. She was raised and educated in Westfield.

She was employed as a mailroom clerk with Cahners Publishing in Denver, Colo., for 20 years.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, Leonard M. Braun of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis “Jack” Boyd; a brother, Marvin Martin; and two sisters, Geraldine Ransom and Irene Braun.
