SHYRL BOGENRIEF

KINGSLEY, Iowa – Shyrl Bogenrief, 81, of Kingsley died Thursday, March 25, 1999, at Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Kingsley, with Rev. Paul Evans officiating. Burial will be in Kingsley Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Earnest-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Mrs. Borgenrief was born Nov. 20, 1917, in Kingsley, the daughter of George E. and Elsy (Lehner) Bolton. She moved with her family to the Mitchell, S.D., area, where they farmed for 11 years. She returned with her family to the Kingsley area.

She married Delbert Bogenrief on July 3, 1945, in Kingsley. The couple farmed near Kingsley until 1978, when the moved into Kingsley.

She was a member of United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Chapter CITTT.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and her husband, Lynette and Pat Robeson of Moville, Iowa; two sons and their wives, Gary and Cindy of Hampton, Iowa, and Tom and Joyce of York, Neb.; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Brandee, Mindy, Aaron, Kami and Jill Bogenrief, and Tracy Meis; two great grandsons; and two brothers and their wives, Merle and Edna Bolton of Park Rapids, Minn., and George L. and Helen Bolton of Kingsley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
