BURNACE M. GOODRICH
MERRILL, Iowa --- Burnace Marie Goodrich, 85, of rural Merrill, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2000, in Springfield, Mo., following a lengthy illness.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Sioux City, with her son-in-law, the Rev. Lee Crum, and the Rev. Al. Weiss officiating. Burial will be in Adaville Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Adaville, Iowa. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.
Mrs. Goodrich was born Oct. 8, 1915, in Moville, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Sadie (Shoop) Hamilton. She graduated from Moville High School.
She married Marls B. Goodrich on April 5, 1937, in Sioux City. The couple farmed near Merrill for 50 years.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She was a former member of Women’s Ministry, Farm Bureau Women and Johnson Township Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters and their husbands, Linda L. and Rick Honderick of Springfield, Mo., and Kathie S. and the Rev. Lee Crum of Sioux City; a sister Edna Griep of Sioux City; four grandchildren, Christy Bollier, Elizabeth Honderick and Brent and Greg Crum; and a great grandson.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Marian Phipps, Faye Miller and Phyllis Deatherage.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Bollier, Brent and Greg Crum, Terry Foister, Steve Hemmelman and Kevin Netley.
