Clifford J. Snyder
Clifford J. Snyder, 181, 3201 Stone Park Blvd., died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the Heaton-Westcott Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Holman of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Kingsley, Iowa, cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dana Beghley, Ralph Wahl, Westley, Jeffrey and Robert Donaghu and Charles Wahl.
Mr. Snyder was born Oct. 13, 1889, in Plymouth County. He was graduated from the Kingsley, Iowa, high school. He married Grace Strohm Jan. 17, 1914. They farmed in the Pierson area until 1919 when they moved to Minneapolis where he was employed by the University of Minnesota Athletic Department. Mr. Snyder retired in 1954.
The couple moved to Sioux City in 1963. She died Oct. 6, 1968, in Sioux City.
No survivors were listed.
