Thomas Manning
Thomas Edward Manning, 34, of San Francisco, Calif., died Tuesday (Jan. 3, 1989) at University Hospital, Omaha, after a brief illness. He was a LeMars native and longtime resident.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Presbyterian United Church of Christ in LeMars. Rev. Robert Grupp will officiate and burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.
Friends may call after 2 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.Mr. Manning was born July 16, 1954, in LeMars to Milo F. and Jean Dennler Manning. He graduated in 1972 from LeMars Community High School and from Arizona State University in 1978. He was art director for VISA at San Francisco the last five years.
Survivors are his parents, Milo and Jean Manning, LeMars; a sister, Donna Mamey of Murray, Utah; five brothers, Nick, Milo Dean, Larry and Dale of LeMars, and Bob of Oyens, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
