Mrs. Marion DeRaad Called by Death

Mrs. Marion DeRaad, 38, a lifelong resident of Plymouth County passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, in her home in Lincoln township following a year of ill health.

Mrs. DeRaad was born December 15, 1912. She was married to Marion DeRaad on June 16, 1943. They had operated the Otto Krause farm since that time.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Leland, 6, and Norman, 3; her father, Otto Krause; two brothers, Walter Krause of Beresford, S.D. and Howard Krause of Leeds, and three sisters, Mrs. Marie Franzen of Kingsley, Mrs. Emily Wycoff of Leeds and Miss Ruth Krause of Chicago.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lincoln township with Rev. H.D. Stahmer officiating. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery.
