Kenneth Dry
Kenneth Dry, 68, Merrill farmer, died unexpectedly Friday (Jan. 26, 1979) at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was found dead in his pick-up truck. Mr. Dry was unmarried.
He was born Jan. 22, 1911, in Crawford county, Ill., to Charles and Isabelle Taylor Dry. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
Mr. Dry was a veteran of world war 2.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mauer funeral chapel in LeMars with Rev. Milton Kinney officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery at Adaville.
Survivors are a brother, Leonard Dry of Arlington, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Edna Sweet, LeMars, and several nieces and nephews.
