Alvin Dennler
Alvin Dennler of Pasadena. California, a former Plymouth county resident, passed away at the Sacred Heart hospital today, April 10 at 8 a m. He was 58 years of age.
Mr. Dennler had been hospitalized last December in California and for the past four weeks had been hospitalized at Rochester, Minnesota. He was taken to the Sacred Heart hospital on Easter Sunday.
Mr. Dennler was born February 14, 1900 at Merrill. He had farmed in this community until poor health forced him to retire from the profession. He has been hotel manager in Pasadena for the past seven years. His wife, the former Mary Dugan of Kingsley survives as well as his children who live in California.
Funeral services are tentatively set for Saturday and burial will be in the Kingsley cemetery. Dickison funeral home of Kingsley is in charge and the body will remain there until time of services.
Survivors include his wife and children and six brothers and sisters including: Mrs. Vernon Buehre of Le Mars; George Dennler of Westfield; Mrs. Axel Anderson of Sioux City; Mrs. Ed Stephenson: Gus Dennler and Ed Dennler of California.

Funeral Services Are Held at Kingsley For Alvin Dennler
Alvin M. Dennler, 58, longtime Kingsley area farmer, died Thursday morning, April 10, at Sacred Heart hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Dennler was born in Plymouth county Feb. 14 1900, and farmed in the Kingsley area until 1950, when he moved to Pasadena, Cal. He returned to the midwest several weeks ago for treatment and hospitalization.
Survivors include the widow, Mary; three daughters; Mrs. Jean Manning of LeMars, Mrs. Gladys Zeiger of St Lawrence, S. D. and Mrs. Betty Schweitzberger of Kingsley; a son, Gail, in the air-force stationed at Jacksonville, Ark.; two stepdaughters. Mrs. Donald Pratt of Kingsley and Miss Lucille Dugan of Pasadena; a stepson, Herbert Dugan of Kingsley; three brothers, Gust W. and Edward R. of California and George of Westfield, and three sisters, Mrs. Ed Stephenson of California, Mrs. Axel Anderson of Sioux City and Mrs. Vernon Buehre of LeMars.
Funeral services were at 2 pm. Saturday at the Kingsley Congregational church. Burial was in the Kingsley cemetery.
