Irene Rensing

Word was received Monday in LeMars by Esther Criswell of the death of Irene Rensing, 81, Los Angeles.

Services and burial will be in California. Her home address was 706 School Ave., Los Angeles.

Mrs. Rensing, the former Irene Cook, was born April 19, 1901, in Elgin township near LeMars, the daughter of Mary Porter Cook and Harley Cook.

Mrs. Rensing left this area and moved to California with her parents in 1922. Several cousins live in Plymouth county.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon Rensing, whom she married in 1959. Also two step-daughters, two step-sons and several grandchildren.
