Funeral services for Alexander McInnis, R.F.D., LeMars were held at 2 p.m. (Today) Thursday, November 19 at the Plymouth Presbyterian church near Brunsville. Rev. E. M. Miller officiated. Burial was in the Plymouth church cemetery with Mauer Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Alexander McInnis was born on December 6, 1874 in Johnson township, Plymouth county, Iowa. Mr. McInnis lived on the same farm there his entire life. He was never married. Death came on Sunday, November 15 at the Akron Community hospital after a sickness of one day. Deceased was 78 years, 11 months and 9 days old.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Dolena Richards of Brunsville and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Mr. McInnis was a member of the Plymouth Presbyterian church.
