Frank Peters, 93, Retired Livestock Buyer, Expires
Funeral services for Frank Frederick Peters, 93, longtime Le Mars resident, will be held Wednesday at Mauer funeral home. Time of services had not been set.
Rev. Milo Morris will officiate and burial will be in Remsen cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Mr. Peters died Sunday (Dec-5-1965) at Sacred Heart hospital where he had been a patient since Nov. 10. He has been in ill health for several years.
He was born July 16, 1872, in Cook county, Illinois, and lived in Clark, S.D. from 1913 until 1934, when he moved to Remsen. After living there for 10 years, he moved to Le Mars. He was a retired livestock buyer.
His marriage to Anniena Peiper took place March 31, 1896, in Remsen. His parents were the late Wilhelmina Stroman and George Peters. Survivors are two sons, Earl and Orville, both of Le Mars; three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Irma) Huffman and Mrs. William (Hazel) Buckingham, both of Sioux city, and Mrs. Norma Titus, Rapid city, S.D. There are eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Lena Peters, Mrs. I.S. Davis and Mrs. Edward Hoeck, all of Santa Cruz, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1953, and by two sons and a daughter in infancy.
