William Harry Reints, 72, of Sarcoxie, Mo., and former Le Mars resident, died April 14, 1999 at his home in Sarcoxie after a length illness.

William Harry Reints was born March 12, 1927 in Le Mars. On Dec. 1, 1978, he married Margie Burkey at Miami, Okla. They had lived in rural Sarcoxie since 1978. He had been employed as a mechanic and in the trucking industry. He was also a cattleman and farmer.

William was a member of the National Cale American Legion Post No. 70 in Sarcoxie and a Methodist.

Survivors include his wife; one son Kenneth Reints, Neosho, Mo.; two daughters, Roxanne Butler, Kansas City, and Christina Marie Reints, at home; two sisters, Betty Jenkins, Republic, Mo.; and Phyliis Stoos, Le Mars; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 1999 at Housh Funeral Home, Sarcoxie, with Rev. Kenneth Fillsinger officiating. Burial will be in Dudman Spring Cemetery, nortwest of Sarcoxie. Visitation, with family present, will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. Pall bearers will be his nephews.
