Mrs. Martha Reints, 82, resident of Plymouth county since childhood, died Tuesday, March 26 at Sacred Heart hospital. She was hospitalized the previous Saturday after suffering a stroke. Mrs. Reints had suffered ill health for several years.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mauer funeral chapel, Rev. K. I. Clawson officiating. Interment was in the city cemetery.

Martha Wilhelmina Detloff was born Aug. 24, 1874 at Bloomington, Ill., and came to Plymouth county as a child. Her marriage to Harry Reints took place March 3, 1892, at the farm near Le Mars. The couple farmed until Mr. Reints died in 1938. Mrs. Reints moved to Le Mars in 1939 and had resided at 334 2nd Ave. N. W.

Surviving are four children: Mrs. Frank (Carrie) Weber, Henry, Mrs. Floyd (Leona) Laughton and Miss Minnie Reints, all of Le Mars; nine grandchildren; ll great grandchildren; three brothers, Henry, Edward and Arthur Detloff and two sisters Mrs. Mathilda Uthe and Miss Mamie Dailey.

Preceding her in death, besides her husband were two sons and four sisters.
