Obituary

MRS. RENOLD SCHAT

Mrs. Renold (Clara) Schat, 70, Maurice, died Thursday (May 2, 1974) at her home after a brief illness.

She was born Feb. 12, 1904, at Canova, S.D., to Mr. and Mrs. H. John Graese. Her marriage took place June 26, 1924, at Canova.

She had lived in Maurice since 1935.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars. Rev. Arnold Imbrock will officiate and burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Sunday.

Mrs. Schat was a member of St. John church in LeMars.

Survivors are her husband of Maurice; two sons, Ralph of Rapid City, S.D., and Clarence of Sioux City; a daughter, Phyllis Schat of Lake Mills; nine grandchildren; a brother, Ben Graese, Canova; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Koetsell, Canova and Mrs. Arnold (Amanda) Koetsell, Sioux Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and three sisters.
