RALPH STEPHENSON

Ralph Edward Stephenson, 80, route 3, Akron, died Thursday (April 10, 1975) at the Akron hospital after a brief illness. He had been hospitalized for four days.

Mr. Stephenson was born June 9, 1894, in Crawford county, Ind. He came to Plymouth county as a young man and has since lived here. He was a retired farmer.

His marriage to Fern Bullington took place Jan. 15, 1921, in LeMars. She preceded in death July 9, 1961.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mauer funeral chapel with Rev. James Ransom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Plueger, rural Akron; two grandchildren, Terry and Sharon Plueger, at home; two brothers, Paul Stephenson and Harold Stephenson, and a sister, Eva Stephenson, all of Leavenworth, Ind.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and sisters.

Mr. Stephenson was a member of the Presbyterian church.
